Different groups of people correspond to different halitosis prevention measures

When it comes to bad breath, many people hate it, but some people inevitably suffer from bad breath. In life, people can only take preventive measures to reduce their own prevalence. The preventive measures corresponding to different groups are also different. Let this article introduce them to you one by one!

1. Pediatric Prevention

2. Have a regular diet. Eat more vegetables and fruits, mix the thickness and size, not picky eaters, not partial eclipse, not overeating.

3. Prevent indigestion. When indigestion occurs, some digestive and gastrointestinal motility drugs can be appropriately taken.

4. Pay attention to the prevention and timely treatment of dental caries and malalignment. Eat less sweets, especially before bedtime.

5. Use traditional Chinese medicine reed root, peppermint, and Agaricus decoction, or 1% hydrogen peroxide, 2% soda water, 2% boric acid water, etc., and choose one of them to gargle, which can reduce or eliminate bad breath.

2. Prevention and treatment of the elderly Some elderly people often have an unpleasant odor in the mouth. The reasons for the odor in the oral cavity are roughly as follows:

1. There are dental caries, residual crowns or residual roots in the oral cavity. Food debris is attached to these lesions. After the bacteria in the oral cavity, the food debris will produce bad breath after fermentation. As long as the caries, residual crowns or roots are treated, the bad breath will disappear.

2. There is periodontal disease in the mouth, especially chronic periodontal disease forms blind pockets, which produces chronic pus discharge and gives off bad smell. At this time, periodontal disease should be treated and blind bags should be eliminated to eliminate bad breath.

3. Acute inflammation occurs in the oral cavity, such as acute periodontal abscess, third molar periodontitis, etc. There are some acute inflammatory secretions in the oral cavity, and bad breath will also occur. After these diseases are cured, the bad breath will disappear after the inflammation subsides. Disappeared.

4. The periodontal tissue of the elderly suffers from physiological atrophy, resulting in gaps between the teeth. After eating, the food debris stays in the gap between the teeth, and after the bacteria in the mouth ferment, it produces a bad smell. So pay attention to oral hygiene, brush your teeth in the morning and evening (before going to bed) and rinse your mouth after meals to eliminate food residues in your mouth, you can prevent the occurrence of bad breath.

This article mainly introduces the preventive measures for children and the elderly. I hope that everyone can maintain a positive attitude towards bad breath in life, and at the same time actively prevent bad breath, and try our best to reduce the possibility of suffering from bad breath. Don’t give bad breath any chance to approach yourself!
