Corus Orthodontists, the leading orthodontic partnership network in North America, is pleased to announce the election of seasoned healthcare investor Tim Patterson and Corus physician partner Dr. Nicole Nalchajian to its Board of Directors.
The appointments reinforce Corus’ commitment to combining commercial expertise with clinical excellence as it continues to expand its presence in North America.
Corus also expresses its sincere gratitude to Dr. Sharon Nguyen and Jill Nowak, who will retire from the Board of Directors upon completion of their terms after many years of dedicated service. They have been instrumental in shaping Corus’s solid governance and operating foundation.
Tim Patterson has over 25 years of experience in private equity and healthcare investing. He previously led healthcare investments at OMERS Private Equity and served as Vice Chairman of its Investment Committee.
During his 11 years at OMERS, he served as a director of several healthcare companies, including Premise Health, Forefront Dermatology, and CBI Health Group.
Today, as an independent advisor and investor, Patterson brings a strategic perspective to expanding healthcare partnerships.

Dr. Nicole Nalchajian is a practicing orthodontist and partner at Nalchajian Orthodontics in Fresno and Clovis, California. Since joining Corus in 2022, she has been a passionate advocate for clinical collaboration, continuous learning, and an enhanced patient experience.

Tim and Dr. Nalchajian join a very accomplished Board of Directors that includes Alan Torrie, Dr. Warren Cohen, Dr. Michael Goldstein, Dr. Paul Helpard, Dr. Shawn Russett, Dr. Lesley Williams, Chris Gardner, and Brent Houlden.
Dr. Fran Short, a practicing orthodontist and physician partner at Short Orthodontics in Lynwood, NJ, was also recently appointed as a Board Observer.
