Spear Education, a leading provider of advanced dental education and practice management solutions, has partnered with Women in Dentistry, Inc. to jointly educate and empower dental professionals at the Women in Dentistry + Spear: Educate, Uplift, Empower retreat.
The retreat, which will take place September 19-20 at Spear’s campus in Scottsdale, Arizona, is designed to provide attendees with an illuminating weekend of health, wellness, and networking opportunities alongside clinical education.
“Our partnership with Spear and the resulting retreat is a celebration of collective strength,” said Dr. Effie Habsha, founder of Women in Dentistry.
“By coming together to unite the top female practitioners in the U.S. and Canada, we believe our speakers and attendees will inspire each other to lead with confidence, deliver exceptional care, and redefine success for women in our field.”
The two-day retreat offers attendees engaging clinical lectures, interactive workshops, and discussions led by female leaders in the fields of dentistry and orthodontics, wellness, fitness, financial planning, and more.
“Our retreats provide a great opportunity for women in the industry to grow their skills, expand their network, and perhaps most importantly, relax,” said Dr. Kimberly Schlam, a restorative dentist in private practice and resident faculty at Spear Education. “We all look forward to learning from each other and sharing our experiences as women in dentistry in a welcoming and inclusive environment.”
Speakers will share their professional insights into cutting-edge dental techniques, including composite restorations, implant restorations, and orthodontic treatments.
Additionally, the conference schedule includes presentations on setting boundaries, achieving personal and professional goals, developing personal resilience, reducing stress, and recruiting great talent.
