SuperMouth is partnering with the nonprofit Healthy Smiles Project to bring oral health products and education to children around the world. This meaningful partnership is launching during National Smile Month, a global campaign that highlights the importance of good oral health and the life-changing power of a healthy smile.
SuperMouth is a dentist-founded brand known for creating advanced oral care solutions for all ages. The Healthy Smiles Project is a nonprofit dedicated to creating sustainable oral health programs for underprivileged children around the world through preventative oral health education and dental supplies.
Dental decay is the most common chronic disease among children in the United States. In fact, more than half (58%) of 8-year-olds have already developed decay in their baby teeth, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. With this in mind and a commitment to making oral care more accessible and preventing decay for all children, SuperMouth and the Healthy Smiles Project are working together to expand access to non-toxic oral health products and education for underprivileged populations around the world.
“Working in dentistry for decades, I witnessed the devastating effects of dental disease in children and realized that products that truly helped simply did not exist,” said Dr. Kami Hawes, DDS, MS, founder of SuperMouth, in today’s press release.
SuperMouth was created to fill this gap – to provide children and their families with fun, science-backed products that promote lifelong oral health. Our partnership with Project Healthy Smiles will further this mission and ensure that children everywhere have the opportunity to smile with confidence.”
As part of the campaign, SuperMouth will donate one SuperBrush Jr. to Project Healthy Smile for every purchase of its innovative Ultim8 SmartBrush from May 13 to June 13.
The buy-one-get-one-free campaign underscores the company’s belief that every child should have the tools to have a healthy, confident smile, the company said. Additionally, SuperMouth has pledged to donate SuperBrush Jr. every two years in advance of Project Healthy Smiles’ outreach events in underserved countries and communities, providing essential oral hygiene tools to children who need them most.
“Together with SuperMouth, we are expanding our ability to help children who are in desperate need of oral health resources,” added Holly Mae Schultz, co-founder of Project Healthy Smiles. “This partnership is about more than just providing a toothbrush, it’s about providing hope, education, and a healthier future for thousands of children.”
