At the “From Knowledge to Action: Children’s Airway Event,” dentists and their teams will learn how to communicate the importance of children’s respiratory health to families and caregivers.
The event, which will be held in downtown Chicago from July 24-26, offers 14 continuing education credits and is designed to help dental professionals gain important communication skills to address the various respiratory issues they encounter in the office.
Through case presentations, they will also enhance their clinical skills and learn about the barriers they need to overcome to ultimately succeed.
Through this event, dental professionals will:
Improve their ability to effectively explain the importance of respiratory issues and treatment recommendations to patients, parents, colleagues, and the public, emphasizing their connection to long-term health outcomes for children.
Apply case-based learning to improve clinical assessments of respiratory issues and strategies to overcome challenges in communicating with different audiences.
Strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration by learning to communicate key insights about structural respiratory issues and treatment plans to team members and colleagues in a clear and persuasive manner.
