Tooth extraction is very quick and very simple process, some patients, there will be some discomfort after tooth extraction, such as wound pain, or bleeding, and some people will also have a fever, especially for children or some elderly patients, there are a lot of fever after tooth extraction phenomenon.

A fever occurs after tooth extraction, which is generally caused by infection. Some patients will have a fever on the day of tooth extraction, and some will have a fever 2 to 3 days after tooth extraction.

In fact, there is a fever phenomenon after tooth extraction is not what abnormal, general anti-inflammatory treatment can be.

If you have a fever after tooth extraction, you should pay attention to rest and keep warm, and avoid catching a cold after tooth extraction.

If infection causes a fever, it is OK to use a few antiphletic drugs appropriately.

Those with higher fever can also be lowered by physical cooling.

How should after unplugging a tooth nurse?

Many people go to the hospital after tooth extraction, will forget to ask the doctor when you can brush your teeth, when you can eat and drink, etc., here is a look at these small details after tooth extraction.

Spit gauze: after tooth extraction, the doctor will give you a piece of hemostatic gauze for you to bite. After gently biting the gauze for 40-60 minutes, you should spit out the gauze by yourself. If there is still obvious bleeding after spitting out the gauze, you should change a piece of gauze and continue to bite gently for 30 minutes.

Drink and drink: after tooth extraction, wait at least 2 hours before eating and drinking.

At the same time, the diet should as far as possible “warm cool dilute soft”, and pay attention to the use of tooth extraction side chewing as little as possible.

Gargle brushing teeth: after tooth extraction, all the saliva do not spit, do not contain, should swallow in time;

Do not brush teeth and gargle within 24 hours after tooth extraction.

Pain: within 24 hours after tooth extraction, you can apply cold compress to the extraction area of the face, wrap the frozen water bottle with a towel, and apply for a while to rest.

You can take over-the-counter painkillers, such as fenbide and ibuprofen, to relieve postoperative discomfort before the anesthetic fades;

Before the anesthetic fades, you will feel facial swelling, which is actually an illusion of efficacy. Do not panic until the efficacy fades.

Other: within one or two days after tooth extraction, bloodshot saliva is normal;

If there are stitches, your doctor will tell you what kind of stitches are used. If they are “non-absorbable”, you should go to the hospital to remove them 7-10 days after surgery.

In addition, we should pay attention to rest, don’t smoke or drink, and do less strenuous exercise.

Do you have a better understanding of what happens after a tooth extraction?

Hope to see can let you “heart bottom”, tooth extraction is not terrible, brave to accept it!
