PepperPointe Partnerships is proud to announce the addition of six new general dentists (and physician owners) and four new dental practices in Virginia.
PepperPointe’s support in Virginia began in December 2022 when a group of like-minded orthodontists and pediatric dentists chose to self-integrate and form the Group Practice to protect their patients, teams, and families from outside interference.
With the belief that it is critical to maintain true physician autonomy, seven general dentists chose to join the Group Practice on January 1, 2025, including Amelia Family Dentistry, James Burton, DMD, Slaughter and Slaughter Family Dentistry, and PeaksView Dental.
“After two years of integration, the Group Practice’s orthodontic and pediatric practices have achieved significant growth, profitability, and stability with the support and guidance of PepperPointe Partnerships,” said Dr. Norm Prillaman, Group Orthodontic Practice Leader.
“We believe that together, we are stronger. We are very pleased to welcome these new general dental practices to our group and have new partners who share our vision.
Our new partners have done their best to maintain the autonomy of practice decision-making while continuing the tradition of true physician ownership.
This will ensure that our communities continue to be supported by local practices and the physicians who live and work with the patients they serve.”
This milestone represents a single-day increase of more than 35% in the number of practices supported by PepperPointe in Virginia.
“The expansion of our business and the addition of these new practices is a testament to the growing need for alternatives that protect the legacy of a practice while creating synergies that help practices and physicians thrive,” said Dr. Greg White, President and CEO of PepperPointe Partnerships.
The expansion allows PepperPointe to help supported practices increase access to care and create more physician ownership opportunities.
This expansion is an important part of our commitment to shape the future of dentistry and make a lasting impact in the communities we serve.”
PepperPointe serves more than 115 office locations and more than 150 physicians nationwide.
