On August 30, the first wholly foreign-owned enterprise of Jinan International Medical Centre (JIMC), Dedawei (Shandong) Intelligent Medical Technology Co. (hereinafter referred to as ‘Dedawei’), the first wholly foreign-owned enterprise in Jinan International Medical Centre since the signing of the MOU between Jinan International Medical Centre and the Korea Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Corporation (KOSMEPC). This marks the increasing attraction of the medical centre to foreign investment and the speeding up of its ‘internationalisation’ development.
DDH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Korea’s DDH (Digital dental hub), an AI-based company that focuses on the development of a digital dental treatment service platform based on the technology of Korea’s top dental R&D team – the R&D team of Seoul National University College of Dentistry. Its AI technology-based orthodontic auxiliary diagnosis system, transparent orthodontic design system, and dental panoramic scanning disease auxiliary diagnosis system have opened a new era of dental treatment.
It is reported that from the first visit at the end of April this year to obtaining the business licence, it took only four months for Dedawei to officially land in the medical centre. Han Sunxu, CEO of the company, said that the medical centre is rich in medical resources, the pharmaceutical industry is concentrated, especially in the layout of the new track of the industry with a clear goal, which is undoubtedly a huge attraction for enterprises. In the process of enterprise landing, it is deeply felt that the medical centre investment and service team’s efficiency and professionalism, investment confidence is more firm.
At present, AI has brought revolutionary changes to many industries, and the dental industry has also ushered in new development opportunities. It is revealed that Jinan International Medical Centre has reached a four-way strategic cooperation intention with Korea Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Corporation, Seoul National University College of Dentistry, Shandong First Medical University College of Stomatology, aiming at all-round cooperation in the field of dentistry in terms of academics, scientific research, exchange of talents and transformation of results, and so on, and jointly promote the medical centre to accelerate the layout of the dental AI track. The Medical Centre will also take the landing of Dedawei as an opportunity to further close cooperation with the Korea Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Corporation (KOSMEPC), and make every effort to promote a number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with good market prospects, strong innovation ability and development potential to sign contracts and land on the ground, so as to accelerate the cultivation of new quality productivity.
Since the beginning of this year, Jinan International Medical Centre has been based on the advantages of resources, platforms and industries, constantly improving its functions and positioning, creating a good business environment, and continuously increasing the introduction of foreign-funded projects, as well as signing contracts and cooperating with Israel’s Arineta, Switzerland’s OMANDA, and South Korea’s INTIN, among others.
