IFS, a leading provider of enterprise cloud and industrial AI software, today announced that Henry Schein, the world’s largest provider of healthcare solutions for office-based dental and medical practitioners, has selected IFS Cloud to transform its dental field operations management to improve technical services and help drive international growth.
Henry Schein will implement IFS Cloud’s Mobile Workforce Management (MWM), Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO), and Field Service Management (FSM) solutions.
The company is building an international template to consolidate applications and processes for dental field technicians across multiple countries, starting with key markets in Europe and North America.
Henry Schein recognized that in order to continue to efficiently scale its business, it needed to consolidate its disparate technologies and processes through a unified, multi-country platform. Additionally, the company sought a modern, composable solution to support its complex operational needs and enhance the customer experience.
The implementation of IFS Cloud will enable Henry Schein to migrate previously unsupported or on-premises applications to a single, modern cloud platform. This will allow the company to streamline processes and gain a unified source of data to enhance customer service.
To complement IFS Cloud’s implementation, adoption and optimization process, Henry Schein has also implemented IFS Success services, designed to help companies maximize the value of their IFS solutions throughout the customer journey.
IFS Success services are designed to help customers adopt new features, improve processes and deliver best practices to accelerate results.
“As a global company, we needed a solution that streamlined our various platforms into a modern, composable solution and enabled us to manage our service operations in a consistent way,” said Davide Fazioni, Vice President of Global Dental Equipment and Services at Henry Schein.
With IFS, we can easily scale our use of this technology as our business grows. IFS Cloud’s ability to address complex use cases out of the box with a single platform will allow us to consolidate applications and optimize the way we work.”
IFS will work with Henry Schein Team Members to lead the implementation of its services as they are rolled out globally. IFS will support its adoption process and continuously optimize the use of the platform to help further increase return on investment.
Simon Niesler, Chief Revenue Officer at IFS, said: “Henry Schein’s decision to consolidate its service infrastructure with IFS reflects their commitment to improving visibility and efficiency across their global business.
Our AI-based cloud solutions are designed to adapt to our customers’ needs so that they can seamlessly integrate new capabilities or add new features as their business scales. We look forward to working closely with Henry Schein to help them realize the full potential of our platform.”
