For 25 years, Colgate’s Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® (BSBF) global oral health program has provided free dental exams, oral health education, and toothpaste and toothbrushes to children in underserved communities.
Colgate is launching the 25 Days of Smiles campaign in partnership with Hall of Fame athlete and television personality Laila Ali to mark this special milestone. Colgate and Ali are working together to address two common barriers to learning faced by schoolchildren: poor oral health and a lack of school supplies.
“As a mother of two, nothing makes me happier than seeing my children smile. Because a child’s bright smile says so much—from their emerging personalities and self-esteem to their hopes for a healthy, successful school year,” said Laila Ali.
“I’m excited to partner with Colgate’s Bright Smiles, Bright Futures program to encourage families to build healthy habits at home—like brushing their teeth twice a day for two minutes, getting regular dental exams, and giving them the tools they need to learn and succeed in school.”
