What to eat to treat periodontitis?

Periodontal disease is a disease caused by inflammation of the supporting tissues of teeth, including gums, cementum, periodontal ligament and alveolar bone. It is one of the most common oral diseases and a major cause of tooth loss. 1. Pay attention to the intake of minerals. Especially the intake of calcium, phosphorus and zinc and their ratio, zinc can fight infection and enhance healing. 2. Supplement a rich high-protein diet. It can enhance the body’s resistance and anti-inflammatory ability, and provide the necessary raw materials for the repair of damaged tissue. Eat more protein-rich foods, such as soy products, eggs, milk, lean meat, fish and shrimp. 3, eat less greasy, irritating food. Fried, fried greasy food and bad food, seafood, garlic, leeks, tobacco and alcohol and other irritating food should be eaten less, sugar and refined sugar should be eaten less, because sugar causes plaque to form and prevents white blood cells from destroying bacteria. 4. Excessive supply and deficiency can cause disorder of the body’s nutrient metabolism, and the distribution ratio between various nutrients should be appropriate. The high-quality protein in the food is slightly more than the normal person, the intake of an appropriate amount of fluoride, and the fatty food should not be too much. 5, supply a variety of vitamins. Especially B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E and folic acid. B vitamins help digestion and protect oral tissues; vitamin C can regulate the nutrition of periodontal tissues, promote the recovery of bleeding gums, and facilitate the recovery of periodontitis. 6. Vitamin A can prevent periodontal disease, strengthen the resistance of enamel, and enhance the vitality of epithelial cells in periodontal tissue. Vitamins B1, B2, and niacin are also vitamins that are often supplemented in the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease. Vitamin C is related to the synthesis of collagen, as well as the function of dentin cells and osteoblasts, and affects the gingival alveolar bone and periodontal ligament. 7. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that periodontitis is caused by both fire and kidney deficiency. For periodontal disease caused by fire, thick flavors should be avoided, and fire pathogens should be eliminated. Mung bean soup and Lugen soup can be used. Don’t fry in oil, use less food with thick and strong flavor, and use more light food with fruits and vegetables. All periodontal disease caused by kidney deficiency should be mainly based on nourishing kidney. 8. High-quality animal protein can be used, and milk and shellfish foods and fresh red, yellow, and green vegetables can be used. For example, take four taels of fresh Malan head, wash it, put it in an appropriate amount of water and boil it until it is completely boiled, and then twist the juice with gauze, take a bowl of juice every day, and take it in two times. Five days is a course of treatment, which has anti-inflammatory and detoxification effects.
