Dentist Struggles to Extract Tooth, Refers Patient for Surgery

Many people are afraid of “going to the dentist”, and tooth extraction is a nightmare for many people. A few days ago, a netizen said that his brother suddenly had tooth pain. The doctor thought that the wisdom teeth needed to be extracted after looking at the tooth. However, he started to extract the teeth before the anesthesia had taken effect. He took a needle and said it would help remove the wisdom teeth. However, he did not take out the needle. The original PO exclaimed, “My brother looked at the teeth and found that the needle was still stuck in his face.”

The original PO posted on Dcard that his brother was serving as a soldier in Yilan and suddenly had a toothache at night, so he went to a dental clinic that was open very late. After arriving at the clinic, the dentist said that the cause of the pain was the wisdom teeth, so they had to be removed, but there were other teeth that would get stuck, so one had to be removed first. The doctor gave his brother anesthesia, but before the anesthesia started to take effect, the doctor just pulled it out, but his brother kept complaining about the pain. After pulling out one piece, there was some bleeding, and the dentist continued to pull out another one.

At this time, the doctor took out a needle and poked it into the gum, saying that it could help extract the wisdom teeth. He also said that “the needle will be removed after the wisdom teeth are extracted.” However, during the process, my brother kept complaining of pain and even vomited blood. The white shirt he was originally wearing was covered in blood, and the pain was so painful that his body was throbbing. The dentist also kept asking my brother to be patient, and kept giving anesthesia injections, and also gave me 5 or 6 additional injections. After the extraction, I was supposed to take out the needle inserted into the gums, but the doctor said, “The needle was inserted too deep and was sucked into the flesh. It will come out on its own tomorrow.” Please pay attention to the brother of the original PO. Finally, the dentist treated the wound and his brother stopped shaking.

The original PO said, “I was so scared to death when I heard that the dentist even caused a laceration on the corner of my brother’s mouth. He said it was caused during the hard extraction of teeth. Later, before my brother left the clinic, the dental assistant said that he would report this situation to the director. In the morning, the director called and asked my brother to transfer to a larger hospital, but the clinic could not handle it. When I went to the hospital, the doctor said that a general anesthesia operation would be required, and the operation would take two hours.” Afterwards, he said helplessly, “I really encountered a quack doctor and I was worried whether his needle would cause bacterial infection.”

After the article was exposed, many netizens screamed in horror, “No matter how you look at it, this is quackery”, “You can sue him! He should definitely win”, “The dentist at night is very bad, no matter how painful it is, I have to wait until morning”, “What kind of bad doctor is this when other teeth are stuck and healthy teeth need to be extracted?”, “Don’t compromise easily on this kind of medical negligence, you must fight for yourself!”
