The Center for Oral Health (COH) is pleased to announce that the 2025 Symposium, “ Oral Health and Quality of Life in Older Adults: Advancing Access to Care through Multidisciplinary Collaboration ,” will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento.
The full-day event will culminate with a 40th Anniversary Gala to honor the Center’s four decades of innovation, research, and advocacy in oral health.
As California’s aging population continues to grow, the symposium is timely and will bring together more than 200 health professionals, policymakers, researchers, and advocates from across the state and the nation.
Attendees will explore key issues in older adults’ oral health, engage in solution-oriented breakout sessions, and review key findings from the California Commission on Oral Health’s (COH) second statewide oral health needs assessment. Session topics include mobile dentistry, dental school-community collaboration, care for homeless older adults, and more.

The evening will feature live music, a silent auction and a casino-themed fundraiser. The evening will also feature awards recognizing outstanding leaders and partners who have made lasting contributions to oral health access and innovation.
