For the second year in a row, Becker’s Healthcare has named Richard Hall, president and CEO of United States Oral Surgery Management (USOSM), to its list of “Leaders in Healthcare”. Hall was named to the “Leaders of the Company 2025” list.
The list, compiled from nominations and editorial research, honors healthcare leaders who are “not only known for skillfully adapting to change across the healthcare industry, but also for actively shaping and driving transformation,” as stated in the Becker’s Healthcare article introducing the 2025 honorees.

A seasoned healthcare executive with more than 40 years of knowledge and executive experience, Hall provides visionary leadership and strong strategic execution to USOSM.
Hall joined USOSM in February 2018 as employee #3 and has led the company through its early years and continued growth, helping to shape USOSM’s vision and trajectory. Under his leadership, USOSM has grown to more than 220 locations and 260 surgeon partners in 29 states.
During his career, Hall has held nine executive positions in venture capital or private equity and has worked with 13 different companies.
Prior to joining USOSM, Hall served as President and CEO of Oncology Services International, the world’s largest independent services organization focused exclusively on radiation therapy devices. During this time, Hall led the company through a significant transformation and successful sale to a prominent private equity firm.
Prior to that, he served as President of Alliance Oncology and Senior Vice President of Business Development, Marketing and Physician Recruitment at US Oncology. Additionally, he served as COO of PatientKeeper, President of the Acute Care Division of McKesson Corporation, and Owner/Chairman of BrightStar Care.
Hall began his career at American Hospital Supply, a company known for developing leaders in healthcare delivery.
Hall currently serves on the boards of USOSM, Sevaredent, and Christine’s Hope for Kids. He also serves on the board and executive committee of the Association of Dental Support Organizations and on the healthcare delivery advisory boards of RiverGlade Capital and MB Global Partners.
A former U.S. Marine, Hall is active in several nonprofit organizations supporting veterans and families of fallen and disabled service members, including Medal of Honor, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, and Operation Restore Oral Health.
Hall earned his bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Penn State University and is a graduate of Duke University’s Executive Healthcare Program.
