DentScribe.ai has launched a new feature called DentScribe CoPilot, designed to assist dental professionals by automatically generating a personalized checklist for each patient visit. The tool is now available as part of the DentScribe platform.
DentScribe CoPilot builds on the company’s existing AI technology, which transcribes dentists’ conversations with patients and generates SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) notes. The new feature reviews these notes and generates a checklist outlining treatment needs, follow-up treatments, and other care considerations.
Once a patient’s appointment is accessed, the checklist appears in the DentScribe app, allowing dental professionals to review pending treatments, unresolved issues, and preventive care needs without having to manually review previous documentation.

CoPilot is designed to identify relevant clinical indicators from previous notes. For example, if a previous note mentions crowding or bruxism, the system may prompt the practitioner to consider further evaluation, such as an intraoral scan for orthodontic treatment or a night guard.
