MB2 Dental has launched Carabelli Club, a national alliance program designed specifically for independent dental practices that provides vendor discounts, operational tools, and educational resources.
The program provides a new avenue of support for private practice owners who do not have a formal partnership with MB2 but still want support in practice management and growth.
“Carabelli Club is an important step in extending the benefits of the MB2 platform to non-partnered practice owners,” said Dr. Chris Steven Villanueva, founder and CEO of MB2 Dental.
We engage with more than 2,500 dentists each year about partnerships, and only about 3% eventually join MB2. However, many non-participants continue to operate independent practices, and we hope to support their continued growth through this program.”
The program provides members with partnership benefits with a number of strategic vendors, covering technology, marketing, insurance verification, and artificial intelligence tools.
In addition, Carabelli Club includes free or low-cost continuing education courses, free membership to the Dentira purchasing platform, and exclusive access to Carabelli Clubhouse, a platform that brings together industry information, product offers, educational events and practice management content. Members can also enjoy specific travel and consumption discounts.
“Carabelli Club has received a positive response from independent dentists and potential supplier partners,” said Jeff Cellucci, chief strategy officer of MB2 Dental.
This is a way for us to serve the broader dental community and achieve support by optimizing prices, resources and clinical training.”
Carabelli Club’s operating model is derived from MB2’s successful experience in supporting nearly 800 partner clinics over the years.
As a dental cooperative organization (DPO), MB2 Dental emphasizes providing a centralized support system and strong supply chain relationships while maintaining dentists’ clinical autonomy.
Although MB2 only selects a few dentists to become formal partners, the launch of Carabelli Club is intended to allow more independent dentists to enjoy similar resources and support.
Currently, Carabelli Club has received support from many well-known suppliers in the industry, including Henry Schein, Align Technologies, Envista, Dentsply Sirona, Overjet, MaxAssist, Cadmus Dental Lab and CareCredit.
MB2 Dental was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. To date, it has established partnerships with more than 750 general and specialty dental clinics in 45 states across the United States.
In 2024, MB2 Dental completed a capital restructuring and received capital injection support from private equity firm Warburg Pincus.
