I’m proud of my white teeth. After trying countless whitening strips and toothpastes over the years, I finally found a system that really works: Lumineux.
With a variety of whitening products available on the market—strips, mouthwashes, toothpastes, and whitening pens—there’s something for everyone.
During my one-month trial, I used the whitening strips primarily (although the brand sent me a full set) and noticed a significant improvement in the color and brightness of my teeth.
There are 21 treatments per box, and each treatment pack contains two strips: one for the upper teeth and one for the lower teeth. Simply apply each strip to the front of your teeth and tuck the edges to the back. The instructions recommend leaving the strips on for 30 minutes, which I followed to the letter.
It’s important to note that the brand warns that some white stains may be left on your teeth, but I never experienced this during my treatments.
There is a gelatinous residue left on your teeth when you remove the strips, though, which some people may find odd.
It will dissipate on its own after a while, but I’m impatient so I just apply it manually to my teeth so it dissipates faster.
This range of products is designed to be safe for sensitive teeth and gums, so unlike some other treatments, it won’t cause discomfort during or after use.
This is thanks to a range of soothing active ingredients such as coconut oil, sage oil, Dead Sea salts and lemon peel oil.
I only used seven treatments, which, combined with the rest of the range, was enough to make my smile whiter (so imagine what it would be like after 21 treatments).
I’d recommend buying the full set if you can. I enjoy the ease of incorporating mouthwash and toothpaste into my daily whitening routine, and the whitening pen is a great addition to your daily whitening routine, saving time and effort.
