I really like this brand’s LED mouthguard. It’s cleverly designed, feature-rich, magnetically charged, and easily positioned with “no bite” technology, which naturally fits your teeth and gums when you wear it, keeping it in place without the need to bite hard.
This whitening system has four stages. First, you apply the self-adhesive whitening patches to your upper and lower teeth.
Then put on the mouthguard and activate the LED function, which starts with a 10-minute blue light mode to help speed up the whitening process.
After the blue light is finished, it’s followed by a 5-minute red light mode designed to improve gum health. After the patches have been in place for 15 minutes, you can use the whitening pen included in the kit to touch up the color.
Although this step is mainly recommended as a mid-term touch-up after the 10-day treatment, I did try it once during the process.
After just one day of using this product, I noticed that some of the patch areas were whiter. After ten days of continuous use, my teeth were indeed about one or two shades brighter overall.
But to be honest, I think the effect of the whitening pen is average, and the requirement of “avoiding swallowing” when using it is a bit difficult to achieve.
Although the patch is non-slip and easy to operate, it is too tight and slightly uncomfortable to remove.
Overall, this whitening kit performs well overall, especially the newly added red light function, which helps relieve tooth sensitivity. For people like me who are afraid of cold front teeth and can’t eat ice cream, it is a big plus.
