Sea of Japan’s Only Dental School with 3 Professions in Niigata’s Chuo-ku

Niigata Dental College, which specializes in training technicians to support dental medical institutions, held an entrance ceremony on the 3rd. Five students have been enrolled in the newly opened Department of Dental Technology and Engineering, and their goal is to become dental technicians.

Niigata University Dental College Niigata Junior College, located in Chuo-ku, Niigata City, was founded in 1983 as Niigata University Dental College Niigata Technical College, and was upgraded to a junior college four years later. To date, we have trained more than 2,000 dental hygienists.

With the establishment of the Department of Dental Technology and Engineering this year, our school has become the only school on the Sea of ​​Japan coast that has an environment to train three dental professions: dentists, dental hygienists, and dental technicians.
