SprintRay, a global leader in dental 3D printing, is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Meena Barsoum as its new Global Head of Clinical Strategy.
A recognized leader in digital dentistry and former CDOCS faculty member, Dr. Barsoum has been pioneering chairside innovation for more than a decade, most notably helping thousands of practices pioneer CAD/CAM milling systems. His appointment marks a significant step forward for SprintRay in its growth and innovation in single-use restorative dentistry.
In her new role, Dr. Barsoum will direct SprintRay’s global clinical strategy – working with practitioners, educators, and industry partners to expand access to 3D printing and deliver faster, simpler, and more affordable same-day care.
“I am excited to help accelerate the new era of chairside dentistry,” said Dr. Barsoum. “3D printing is no longer a concept of the future, it’s a solution for today. SprintRay’s Midas digital press platform enables any practice equipped with an intraoral scanner to deliver high-quality same-day restorations without the complexity or cost barriers of other systems. This is how we make digital dentistry truly accessible.”
Dr. Barsoum’s appointment reinforces SprintRay’s vision for a new standard in restorative workflows—replacing the key limitations of traditional manufacturing methods with faster, more scalable solutions.
“Meena’s joining SprintRay sends a clear message to the industry. 3D printing isn’t just catching up to traditional methods, it’s surpassing them,” said Dr. Amir Mansoori, CEO of SprintRay. “With Midas, we’re delivering a smarter, more inclusive path to same-day care, and Meena will help us continue to realize that vision.”
As 3D printing becomes more accessible, SprintRay continues to lead the charge to transform the way dentistry is delivered—putting powerful, easy-to-use technology and AI-powered design in the hands of every clinician.”
