Kirk Anthony Clanton has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Dental Services Organization (DSO), which consists of Godley Station Dental, Satilla Family Smiles and Lexington Family Smiles and is owned by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Matthew Allen and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Melinda Allen.
As COO, Clanton will join the executive leadership team and manage the day-to-day operations of each practice, ensuring efficient, compliant and high-quality patient care. Clanton will provide leadership in the key areas of financial and business performance, team leadership and development, and quality assurance.
He will also drive the adoption of technology and innovative solutions and assist the CEO in developing and executing DSO’s growth and expansion strategy.

Clanton was born in Savannah and prior to joining Godley Station Dental, he served as Director of Operations for the Multi-Specialty Group at South Coast Medical Group. He holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Southern Georgia University in Statesboro.
Clanton has over 25 years of experience implementing financial controls that drive overall enterprise performance and improve processes.
Throughout his career, he has served as a practice administrator at several hospitals and healthcare facilities, including St. Joseph/Candler Medical Group, Savannah Urology Associates, Savannah Urology Center, and Memorial Medical Center.
He is a member of the Medical Group Management Association. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children, Olivia and Andrew. They reside on Wilmington Island.
