Formlabs and Dentsply Sirona today announced that the complete Lucitone Digital Denture workflow is now available for Formlabs’ latest Form 4B dental 3D printer.
This integration provides dental labs with a proven solution for efficient and consistent digital denture production using Dentsply Sirona’s Lucitone material.
The new Lucitone Digital Denture System, which includes Lucitone Digital Print, Lucitone Digital Value, Lucitone Digital IPN, Lucitone Digital Fuse, and a dedicated curing unit, is designed to optimize production processes and support flexible production of both premium and value dentures.
The system not only increases production speed and repeatability, but also reduces reliance on traditional complex assembly processes.
“Our collaboration with Formlabs further demonstrates our shared goal of providing advanced digital tools to dental labs,” said Rodrigo Canelhas, Vice President of Implant and Restorative Solutions at Dentsply Sirona.
By validating the Lucitone solution on the Formlabs printing platform, we are enabling labs to achieve more efficient, accurate, and aesthetically pleasing prosthesis restorations.”
Formlabs added that this integration further enriches the third-party material ecosystem for the Form 4B platform, enhancing its usability and flexibility.
Lucitone digital denture materials offer a variety of denture base colors and 18 tooth shades that match the VITA classic A1-D4 color guide, providing more options for personalized restorations.
The validation workflow is now available to all dental labs using the Formlabs Form 4B printing platform.
