Dental manufacturer Septodont recently announced that Karim Khadr will be appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective June 2, 2025.
The world’s leading dental anesthesia company and leading manufacturer of dental pharmaceuticals and medical devices is making changes to its governance structure. Khadr will succeed Olivier Schiller, who will continue to serve as Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors.
“This appointment is a natural step for our Group and a decision I made as I approach my 65th birthday,” Schiller said in a press release. “I have worked side by side with Karim since he joined Septodont in 2021 and have experienced first-hand his strategic thinking, values, and his commitment to his employees and customers. He is a very accomplished leader and I hand over the CEO responsibilities to him with confidence.”
Khadr is a senior executive with more than 30 years of experience in various positions in sales, marketing, business development, and product management in both large and small organizations in the medical device and diagnostics industry. Four years ago, he joined Septodont as President of Global Dental, responsible for sales, marketing, and innovation.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to build on the success achieved by Septodont under Olivier’s outstanding leadership and am excited to take on this responsibility starting in June. I look forward to working closely with the management team and all employees to continue to successfully execute our strategy for the future,” added Khadr.
As Olivier assumes his new role as Chairman of the Board, he will continue to serve the company, focusing on the company’s long-term development and providing strategic direction to the Board.
Since its founding in 1932, Septodont has developed, manufactured and distributed a broad range of products and solutions dedicated to the needs of dental professionals around the world.
The company offers a wide range of products in the fields of endodontics, pain management, periodontics and more. BioRoot Flow Bioceramic Root Canal Sealer and BufferPro 8.4% Sodium Bicarbonate Buffered Solution are just two of the many popular products developed by Septodont.
