Christie & Co, specialist commercial property advisors, announce the sale of The Bank Dental Practice in Manchester.
The Bank is a historic private dental practice with five clinics located within an imposing former bank building in Prestwich, Greater Manchester.
The unique property is situated on a commanding site on Bury New Road and retains many original features including the original signage and distinctive vault door.
The practice has been owned by Dr Michael Haffner since 1990 and the sale is intended to facilitate Dr Haffner’s retirement from the position of owner of the practice. Following the sale, he will continue to work as an associate at the practice.
The property was purchased by Divesh Singh, who owns a number of practices in the North West, following a confidential sales process with Jonathan Watson of Christie’s.
“I am delighted to be taking over this historic practice which has grown so well over the years,” said Divesh Singh, the new owner of The Bank Dental. “We have been busy in the first few weeks with the renovation of the practice and investing in the future of The Bank.”
“The sale of The Bank Dental was extremely popular, having been acquired just one month after the practice was listed,” commented Jonathan Watson, Director of Dentistry at Christie’s.
“Now that the transaction has been completed, I am delighted that Divesh has invested in the practice and look forward to its development in the coming years.”
The sale price of The Bank Dental has not been disclosed.
