Planet DDS recently announced that it has further expanded its DentalOS partner ecosystem with multiple new API integrations and professional consulting support services, including Mango Voice, Voicify and Thinc Forward.
This move is aimed at providing dental service organizations (DSOs) and multi-site dental practices with more flexible cloud technology infrastructure customization solutions.
The company emphasized that all new API partners must pass a rigorous security and technical evaluation process to ensure that they meet standards in terms of privacy protection, interoperability and performance.
Planet DDS said that this mechanism is a core part of its strategy to replace traditional dental systems with a modern and secure software ecosystem.
Eric Giesecke, CEO of Planet DDS, said: “The continued expansion of DentalOS is a reflection of how we help customers confidently optimize their clinic operations by providing more choices, stronger integration capabilities, higher security standards and professional support.”
Enhanced Telephone Voice Integration Capabilities
In terms of voice technology, Mango Voice, as a cloud VoIP service provider in the dental field, has now integrated with two major clinic management platforms under Planet DDS, Denticon and Cloud 9.
This is also the first time in the industry that a unified telephone solution has been deployed on two major dental platforms at the same time.
Mango Voice CEO Kevin Tallman said: “As one of the first companies to work closely with Planet DDS, we are full of expectations for the industry opportunities brought by this cooperation.
This cooperation marks a key step towards providing comprehensive and seamless voice communication solutions for dental and orthodontic professionals.”
At the same time, Voicify, which focuses on medical voice AI technology, has also officially joined the DentalOS ecosystem.
Jeff McMahon, CEO of Voicify, said: “By partnering with Planet DDS, we are able to demonstrate Voicify’s commitment to improving the patient communication experience.
With Denticon’s powerful platform, we can significantly improve patient interactions, optimize operational processes and enhance data security for dental service providers.”
Upgraded technical consulting service support
Thinc Forward, a long-term IT service partner of Planet DDS, is now officially a certified reseller and technical consultant in the DentalOS ecosystem.
In addition, the company has expanded its product lineup and become an authorized reseller of Apteryx cloud imaging solutions.
Dan DiOrio, CEO of Thinc Forward, said: “We are very honored to work with Planet DDS to improve customer operational efficiency, strengthen data security, and promote the sustainable development of dental business with innovative technology.”
Platform capabilities and compliance assurance
Planet DDS emphasized that DentalOS is designed to help dental enterprise users smoothly transition from traditional systems to enterprise-level customized cloud platforms.
The company noted that its entire solution and organization have achieved SOC 2 Type 2 compliance certification, a first for the dental software industry.
This standard ensures the platform’s continued adaptability in terms of security and scalability to meet the evolving compliance needs of the industry.
